For vacation trips, we can write you a prescription for select medications. That way, you'll be well-prepared for the most common ailments while you're traveling.
The following medications are available by prescription:
- Acetaminophen (Dafalgan, Tylenol, Acetalgin, Panadol, Ben-u-ron)
- Ibuprofen (Algifor, Irfen)/Mefenamic acid
- Xyzal/Aerius
- Itinerol
- Perenterol
- Nasivin
Important Information:
- The recipe must at least 5 days must be requested from us before the trip begins.

Instructions for Use
Acetaminophen
- If you have a fever or pain
- Administer every 6 hours as needed
Ibuprofen/Menefamic acid

Xyzal / Aerius
- Antihistamines for mild allergic reactions, severe local reactions to mosquito bites, or urticaria (hives)
- Use according to the recommended dosage based on age and product
Itinerol
- For Nausea and Vomiting
- Use according to the recommended dosage based on age
Perenterol
- Supports the restoration of the gut flora in cases of diarrhea
- No medication to stop diarrhea
- 1 packet per day as long as diarrhea persists
Nasivin
- For a cold, use the age-appropriate dosage
If your child has severe, persistent symptoms and/or is in poor general health, we always recommend seeing a doctor, even if you have a first-aid kit.
